Affect: i believe people would see xbox live and psn as equal just because of this feature. It makes orgnaizing matches so much easier.
Xbox Live supports cross-title invitations, which means you can make and accept invitations to different games than the one that you or other players are currently playing.
PS3 should offer the same !
